• February - Share the Love Month and 2x Giveaway! There are two ways to win:

1. Students can bring a friend to class any day during February to receive one raffle entry.

2. Let's get social! Parents can tag us in a post on Facebook or leave a review on Google or Facebook! Each week, we will share a list of parents who have tagged us or left a review. BONUS! Level UP!

   1. Do all three: Tag Us + Google Review + Facebook Review = 5 Entries!

   2. Every time you tag us, you receive an entry.

The first drawing will be on February 12, and the winner will receive 2x Free Admission to the Share the Love Valentine Bash on February 14. The second drawing will be on February 20, and the winner will receive 1x Free Admission to the Arctic Storm Ninja Camp.

We’re blending the discipline of Taekwondo with the inspiration of iconic superheroes to create a month of immersive, high-energy training. Each week, our classes will focus on a different superhero. Classes will include themed drills, superhero-style challenges, and even some cool decor to keep the energy high — all while building technique, fitness, and confidence.

• May 16 - Port City Dragon Demo Rehearsal 10am-1pm, bring a packed lunch

• June - "The Strongest Dad" Nominations - Send us a picture and paragraph about why your dad should win the "Strongest Dad" contest, and see your special note and his picture on the big screen at DMA. All nominations will go into the drawing for a special "Strongest Dad Raffle." The winning dad will receive $100 Gift Card to Dick's Sporting Goods. (pssst. remember, strength isn't always physical)

• June - T-shirt Months Begins!

• June 6 - Big Kahuna Summer Celebration

School's out for summer, and we're ready to paaa-rty! Join us for a night of Hawaiian-themed celebration at the Yu's home, situated on 3/4 acres of land, perfect for all of our shenanigans.

Upon arrival, students will receive a lei from one of our instructors, welcoming them to the event! Take a stroll past the tiki torches and meet up with your friends in the "jungle" (our wide-open backyard) where the real magic happens. Over the course of the evening, students will participate in water-balloon challenges, Hawaiian-themed games, and nighttime swimming in the lighted pool. Rotations and small groups will keep the event safe and fun! From decor to luau dance challenges, this will be a fully themed night in paradise.

5-9 pm, $35pp (siblings and friends welcome)

• Themed Games like: Swim-Swim-Goose and Dunk-The-Instructor Trivia with Water Balloons, plus more!

• Night Swimming in the lighted pool!

• Grilled Hot Dogs, with chips and drinks!

• Sno Cones!

• Movie on the lawn with Popcorn!

Students will need to bring a towel, a change of clothes (optional), water bottle, and sneakers. They will be getting wet!

• June 22-26 - Summer Spectacular (week 1)

• July - Red, White and Blue Month! Wear your colors and wear them proud, to represent your nation, and your DOJANG! Spot our Black Belts helping out in youth and teen classes this month by their uniforms: Blue - 1st Degree, Red - 2nd Degree, and White - 3rd Degree.

• July - Black Belt Take-Out Takedown! Beginning July 9, every Thursday in July Master Yu and Mrs. Yu will be ordering Take-Out for the Black Belts! Vote for your favorite restaurants!

• July 2-6 - DMA will be closed in observance of Independence Day and to support the Port City Dragons in Florida at the US Open.

• July 2-6 - U.S. Open Tournament, Orlando, FL

• July 13-17 - Summer Spectacular (week 2)

We might say "so long" to summer, but the fun is never ending at DMA! Join us to bid a fond farewell to summer-break with a special Parents' Night Out inspired by the joyful spirit of Japanese summer festivals (Natsu Matsuri). Students will enjoy classic festival games, create their own fan craft, and take part in a group celebration routine. It's a night of community, fun, and respectful celebration as we kick off a new season! Activities are designed with cultural appreciation in mind.
